About our college
People’s College Mokokchung was established in the year 1984 to cater to the needs of the young people for higher education and to strive towards excellence. It is located in the heart of the town at Kumlong Ward. The college is affiliated to Nagaland University.
Our Vision
The vision of People’s college is based on its motto – Strive, Seek, Find, Excel. The College aims to create a dynamic and innovative learning environment where students are encouraged to push themselves to new heights, discover their passion and talent, actively seek out new opportunities and knowledge and ultimately achieve their full potential. People’s college would be a place where students are empowered to strive for greatness, find their purpose, seek out answers to questions and challenges and find tangible results in their academic, personal and professional lives. IGNOU STUDY CENTRE
The People’s College is a designated study Centre of IGNOU under IGNOU Regional Centre Kohima. The IGNOU study centre, People’s College, offers both UG (General and Honors) and PG (Master Degree in Sociology, English and History) and also offers certificate courses.
